All eyecare professionals can refer patients to a social prescriber.
Social prescribing enables clients to have more control over their own health and wellbeing and find ways to improve how they feel in a way that suits them. It does this by connecting them to non-medical support and services like local social groups, physical activities and exercise, groups outdoors in nature, financial and health support services.
